Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress began her career in the late 1980s, and rose to prominence with her performance in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast with the veteran actor Anil Kapoor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil alongside Aamir. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle-class family and began to dance in her early years. When she was still in high school, she tried her hand at acting, but most of her early movies failed. In the end, she was one of the biggest actresses of Indian film. Following her wedding, she took some time off from acting before returning. She played a major role on Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won eight of these. She was also honored with the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the social sector.
