MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is it was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. Then, in 2021 he sang a duet in 2021 with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. As a child, he studied the guitar and saxophone. While his initial career goal was to be veterinarian, his brother Julian advised him to begin studying singing with the Cuban. It changed his entire life.
